Stockwatch does not ask you for any personal information. There is no account to create, no newsletter, and no form that sends us your data — the calculator on each page works by putting your figures in the web address, and the result is worked out on our server and sent straight back to you.
Like almost every website, our web server keeps an access log. Each entry records the IP address that made the request, the page requested, the time, and the browser's user-agent string. These logs are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse. They are not linked to any identity and are not sold or shared.
Stockwatch sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or tracking scripts at present.
Page headings use a web font served by Google Fonts. When your browser fetches that font, Google receives the request, including your IP address. No other third-party service is loaded on these pages.
We intend to carry advertising in future. If and when that happens, an advertising provider will set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser, this page will be updated to say exactly who and what, and readers in regions that require a consent choice will be asked for one before any such cookie is set.
The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.
Because we hold no account data, there is generally nothing of yours for us to export or erase beyond server log entries. If you would like log entries associated with your IP address removed, write to contacts.stockwatch@gmail.com and we will do so where they are still held.
If this policy changes materially — advertising being the likely reason — the updated date above will change.
